Our ultimate goal at Leonardo da Vinci Academy is to create a positive and safe environment where students are taught to be responsible for their learning, thus, preparing them to deal with an ever-changing world.

A Bilingual Education

Students attending Leonardo da Vinci Academy follow a bilingual curriculum model. From Kindergarten to Grade 6, students alternate between languages on a daily basis.

Academics in a Social Context

Our emphasis on building strong literacy, numeracy, technology and music skills enhances the development of vital and essential life skills. It is with confidence that we promote the emergence of global learners and community citizenship.

Enriched Math & Technology

Mathematics at LDVA is extended one hour per day allowing for math enrichment. Emphasis is placed on math applications with a focus on learning and evaluation situations.

EMSB kicks off Black History Month & Hooked On School Week by honouring the late Dr. Horace I. Goddard

The English Montreal School Board is marking Black History Month with programming across the network. On Thursday, February 6 the EMSB held its formal kickoff at Parkdale Elementary School in St. Laurent in dedication to the late Dr. Horace I. Goddard, a former school teacher, principal and head office administrator and a leader in the Black community.
